Our Programs
From second chances and spay-neuter and TNR support to our Silver Paws Project for senior pets and adopters, we help Yuma County animals find safety, care, and loving homes. Together, we give local pets a second chance at a better life while easing the burden on the Humane Society of Yuma and local shelters.
Second Chance Program
Our Second Chance Program takes in at-risk dogs and cats directly from owners who need to relinquish them — before they ever enter a shelter — then places them in vetted foster homes for adoption.
Spay-Neuter- (TNR)
Through our Spay & Neuter Initiative, every dog and cat in our care is fixed before adoption. We also support TNR efforts to help reduce and manage community cat populations.
The Silver Paws Program
