There’s always one dog who seems to find me first, and this week it was Princess, a regal beauty whose name fits her perfectly. I first spotted her on Petfinder, lounging like royalty against soft white pillows, but meeting her in person revealed even more of her magic. This Black Lab mix carries the elegant look of a Greyhound in her long, lean frame and glossy black coat.

Princess has beautiful white toes, a bright chest blaze, and just enough facial markings to give her that unmistakable, polished charm. She moves with grace and purpose, walking beautifully on leash wherever she goes.

She lights up for toys, treats, and gentle affection, but isn’t over the top with her energy. Princess has a calm, confident presence that makes her feel special from the very first moment you meet her, steady, gentle, and endlessly sweet.
