Meet Maui
Meet Maui, a sweet, scruffy, approximately 2-year-old boy looking for the loving home he deserves. Maui appears to be a Lab–terrier mix, with a soft Lab-like head, a longer body, wiry fur, shorter legs, and adorable tan paws and tail markings. Most of all, he has a gentle, loving heart and a face that makes it almost impossible not to fall in love.
Maui’s Second Chance
Maui came to the Shelter Whisperer Project through our Second Chance Program after his previous family faced changing circumstances and needed help finding him a stable, new home Fast.
With an imminent deadline his situation became urgent, they made the difficult but caring choice to seek support. He is now safe in foster care while we help him find the family meant for him.
The Sweet House Guest
Maui is housebroken and has not had a single accident since arriving in foster care. He was understandably shy at first, but he is settling in more each day and enjoying being part of a home. He does not jump on furniture or people, and he has shown himself to be a gentle, respectful little guy. He gets along with people and other animals in the home. Sweeter than sweet.
A Best Friend Waits
Maui is looking for his forever family. Hand seeking a person or family who will appreciate his sweetness, his loyalty, and quiet affection. He wants to be near his people and share everyday moments. A gentle, loyal boy, Maui would make a wonderful companion and a loving little shadow by your side. His foster loves him and is struggling with the thought of letting him go.
